Graduation season is upon and as many high school and college graduates prepare for finals and get ready to walk the stage to freedom, some are choosing to customize their graduation caps cleverly with Hip Hop-inspired insignia.
Even in 2016, Kanye West’s Graduation album cover, with his ubiquitous Dropout Bear, remains a common theme for grad caps since its debut in 2007. Future, Drake and Beyonce lyrics and cover art have also inspired these 2016 graduates to decorate their crowns with inspirational messages like the one on this golden 21 Savage cap based on the viral meme stemming from his DJ Vlad interview.

This Florida A&M graduate hilariously lifted Kodak Black’s “SKRT” lyrics for their graduation cap complete with a Simpson-esque figure of the fresh-out-of-jail Florida rap star.
