Jeffrey Wright, Josh Gad, Patton Oswalt, Aasif Mandvi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Andy Cohen & more tweeted about Trump’s address in New York on Wed. morning (Jan. 11).

Days before his inauguration day, Donald Trump delivered his first formal news conference since being elected on Wednesday morning (Jan. 11). The president-elect spoke to journalists at Trump Tower in New York and touched on a wide range of topics, from the “tremendous” talent lined up for his inauguration to his plans for stepping away from his vast business holdings.

During the televised presser, Trump’s team addressed BuzzFeed’s publishing of a report with graphic allegations, spoke in vague terms about his much-vaunted wall with Mexico said the Trump Organization will donate all profits from hotels from foreign governments to the US Treasury.

He also commented on his ties with Russia, further stated that he won’t release his tax returns and said he recently turned down a deal with Dubai that was worth $2 million. Additionally, he clashed with CNN’s Jake Tapper (calling him “fake news) and ended the presser with his Apprentice catchphrase: “You’re fired.”
